Like everyone else in the technology industry, we are saddened by the news that Apple Co-founder Steve Jobs passed away. It has been said often that Steve was a true visionary, a man who has always seen where the future of personal computing is going and what his company could do to get there first.

All of that is true. But as we remember Steve, it is also important to think of his commitment to creativity and honesty, most of all with one’s self. Steve spoke often of a need for “taste,” but not in a superficial way; rather, a collective sensibility and shared values that shapes your worldview. It is this taste, and unique worldview, that made Apple what it was.
